I have an affinity for Japanese design and visited some of the monasteries and gardens there. Most photographs of this particular calendar are well chosen. The scenes are inviting, tranquil, and with characteristic balance or harmony. I have the 2013 edition and believe that the 2014 edition is even better. As for the calendar portion, all the civic and major religious holidays (Jewish, Muslim, Christian, Hindu, Buddhist), moon states, and other commemorations are given with ample space for notes.Product details

I love this calendar, as I am an avid gardener. It is inspiring, and really quite beautiful on my wall.

Each month brings you a lovely tranquil image, and all the worldwide holidays and moon phases are included. Everything you could ask for in a wall calendar.
Beautiful as always - though I wish the photos corresponded seasonally to the months they illustrate. It's a little jarring to see cherry blossoms in January.
I use this as my office calendar at work. Just looking at the images is a great way to begin the day in the right frame of mind.
I usually don't like so-called "inspirational" text, but I really like the quotes at the bottom of this calendar's pages. Lots of food for thought there. That plus the gorgeous pics make this one of my all-time favorites.
